The Ochre Project
Photography | Fringe Festival
As part of the 2014 Fringe Festival, Charlotte Andrew was running The Ochre Project.
We found Charlotte in a wooden council shed at the end of Holloway Road in Aro Valley . Charlotte had been collecting rocks from all around the country and she was making ochre and mixing it with shark oil to make paint. She was also making charcoal to draw with in her portable BBQ.
It was a delightful interactive and traditional experiment on the fringes of the Wellington green belt.
