Tekapo at night

I had it all timed perfectly, but our flight from Wellington to Christchurch was delayed due to the bad weather.
Half a day late we jumped in the car and drove from Christchurch through the Mackenzie Basin and into the International Dark Sky Reserve, Tekapo.
Mark Gee and Rob Dickinson were taking an Astrophotography class which involved staying up all night and taking photos of the celestial heavens.
By chance, I managed to capture an iridium flare that night and one year later directed a short documentary on Astrophotographer Mark Gee.
